Walled Lake Northern alumnus invited to Colts Rookie Mini Camp

Walled Lake Northern alumnus Ryan Heicher is taking his talents to Indianapolis. The Knights’ 2021 graduate was invited to Rookie Mini Camp with the opportunity to earn a spot on the Colts’ Training Camp Roster.

Heicher earned All-State Honorable Mention as a senior at Walled Lake Northern, as well as first team All-Region and first team All-Conference. After graduating, he punted three seasons at Saginaw Valley State University before transferring to Arkansas State for his senior year.

Heicher shined in Jonesboro, Arkansas averaging 43 yards per punt and booting 20 inside the 20-yard line. Additionally, 10 of his punts traveled over 50 yards this past season.
