The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ Board of Education appointed Amanda Kelty the new principal at Meadowbrook Elementary during its June 18, 2026 meeting.

Four elementary and one middle school student will compete in the Oakland Schools Scripps Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 14, at the Oakland Center at Oakland Schools.
